Take Action

Find Your Candidates

If you don’t know who is running in your municipality, your best resource is your municipality's website. All municipal websites have a section where you can see who is registered to run in the 2014 Municipal election, so check your community's website for further information.

Email Your Candidates

This is one of the easiest, most powerful steps you can take. A short, personal email from one of their voters is often all it takes to put an issue on a Municipal or School Board Trustee Candidate's radar. Find the emails of the candidates running in your ward and your community, and send them a personal email asking them to sign the pledge. We've put together an Email Template to make this vital step even easier!

Quiz Your Candidates

We’ve put together a handy guide for candidates, when you see them at your door or at all-candidates meetings.

Write a Press Release

Writing a press release is a great way to bring local attention to the importance of Active and Bike-Friendly communities across Ontario.

Spread the Word

We invite you to forward the pledge to your friends and family.
